August Acquisitions

Hello beloved reader,
Thankfully, August is coming to a close, and I hope your month was as eventful as mine! For me, the eighth month of the year was filled with Senior Year festivities, traveling, studying, celebrating, and most importantly (to you anyway), shopping. And you know what the best part was? It wasn't even my own money I was spending, it was my loved ones’. Birthday cash is truly my favorite source of income.
So, in true ellaestalucia fashion, here’s everything I bought (or simply received) this lovely month:

Starting strong, I finally gave in to a TikTok trend. I kept seeing these graphic tees
everywhere, and I got FOMO! I wasted no time in visiting https://inprintwetrust.co/, where got this white tee with a judgmental Kate Moss and condescending Naomi Campbell, and this black baby tee with a disco ball. I have got to say, the price was pretty good and they are simply: too cute. Will probably buy more.

In another strong case of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), my parents went on a trip to Colombia without me… but they made up for it by bringing me back this jaw-drop gorgeous Agua Bendita dress. A reason I adore their dresses is their lycra fabric, it’s form-fitting and doesn’t wrinkle, making it perfect for vacation.
Another dress they brought me is this overly adorable baby doll dress from Sixxta. It’s exuding late 2000s vibes in the best possible way, reminding me of something Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl would wear. It’s, believe it or not, my first baby doll dress, so I am more than excited to style it.

Next up, we have the pieces my Pinterest board has been begging me to buy. These pink “Birkenstocks” and PJ pants from Zara Home. Are you going to tell me these aren’t the epitome of Matilda Djerf, Scandinavian style?

A birthday Free People purchase is up next. Starting with this belt, who’s prettier than me and you both. Just imagine the possibilities… you can wear it on the hips over a dress, on a bare midriff like Carrie Bradshaw, or even as a shirt if you have small boobs (#smalltittycommittee).

And still going strong: these (very subtle) metallic leggings from Norma Kamali. The 80s are making a comeback and this is how I’m wearing the trend. I’m seriously not kidding when I say I based my entire birthday party theme (On the Edge of Seventeen) around these pants…
And finally, the month couldn’t come to an end without a Sephora restock:
Ouai Matte Pomade, for the best slick-backs.
Fenty Heat in Fu$$y, the perfect day-to-night shade.
Refy Brow Gel, trust me on this.
The Ordinary Caffeine Serum, a brightening morning essential.
Dr. Dennis Gross's chemical exfoliant, a game changer.
Refy Blush in Malaya, a new try!
Rare Beauty Liquid Liner, a new try!
Westman Atelier bronzing drops, a new try!

PS, let me know in the comments if you’d be interested in a skincare/makeup post!
Much love,
a spender
